Ladies, it’s the countdown to the busiest time of the year – and I don’t just mean anything work or family related – I mean socialising, looking our best and feeling fabulous (sometimes when all we would rather do is snuggle up in front of a good film with a large glass of something delicious…..)
So, I have some tips, to get you through the ‘season’
Make sure you have a Dermalogica Multi Vitamin Power Recovery. This take 10 minutes max and knock 10 years off – or at least they lift the darkness from under those tired eyes. Use it every 5 days – or as I have instructed you – and Cinderella shall go to the ball!
Eat something before you go out. No matter how rushed you are, make sure you have something to eat just before you leave the house – pre lippie. This works on so many levels;
Chances are you haven’t had much to eat due to being busy, so this will line the stomach so the first drink doesn’t act like the 5th drink.
It will prevent you wading your way through the bread selection before you have even chosen your starter, or ordering fries when you vowed to yourself you wouldn’t – which has 2 benefits, you don’t fill up so the food is a waste of money/can’t manage it and it decreases the calorie tally by about 400 (depending on the butter factor)
It’s a win win and you will remember it all!
Alternate alcoholic drinks with non alcoholic, and preferably water. This dilutes the alcohol which helps the hangover, it rehydrates so that you don’t look and feel like a dried up prune the next day and it gives your skin a fresh Christmas glow…..
Re apply your lip gloss or lipstick each and every time you visit the ladies (or gents), this will lift your face and frame your smile – you should ALWAYS take the time to look gorgeous……Work it Girl!!
Book in for a post festivities, deeply cleansing treatment so you know that whatever happens, rescue is on the horizon!
And most of all have an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year from all at Wendy O’Hare Skin Care!
Lots of Love!
